I know we were all taught that oil and fat were going to lead to weight gain. A lot of my patients have this issue, and some of them have confessed that, although I regularly recommend it, they can’t bring themselves to add coconut oil to their recipes in large quantities. If you’re one of them, I want to encourage you. But also, I have an idea that might help you. Try MCT oil. It’s concentrated, so you don’t need as much to get the benefits of coconut oil.
