Do you know, one of the most common health issues I see in my patients is Candida. It can be the root cause of fatigue, sugar cravings, bad breath, brain fog, joint pain, hormone imbalance, and even a weak immune system… never mind digestive problems like gas and bloating.
And while I do recommend a full candida cleanse to people with those types of issues, there are a couple of tricks you can use to get candida in check (slowly).
- Start consuming more coconut oil. Pour or spoon it into smoothies, make desserts with it (and low GI sweeteners, of course!), and smooth it onto your skin. The special acids in coconut oil are candida’s worst enemy.
- Take vitamin C to boost your adrenals and support your immune system. Try a natural source such as camu camu berry powder or rosehip powder.
