Though everyone has their own personal idea of what happiness is, I feel that the healthier you are, the happier you can become. But what about longevity? Health can give you that, too!
Here are some ideas of how to ensure you’re boosting your own longevity today:
- Eat foods that support healthy glutathione levels. Glutathione is also known as the master antioxidant. Stock up by consuming more avocado, garlic, asparagus, eggs, grapefruit, spinach and grass-fed beef.
- Exercise in bursts. You don’t need to exercise every day when you do burst training. Here’s what to do: warm up for 3-5 minutes. Run (or walk fast!), bike or swim at 90 percent of your capacity for 30-60 seconds. Then rest by slow jogging for 1-2 minutes. Repeat the sprint and rest 3-7 times.
- Do intermittent fasting. Anyone can do this, and the benefit list is as long as your arm! All you have to do is stop eating and carry on for 12-16 hours every day. Start with 12. You’ll be amazed by how easy it is. Stop eating 12 hours before breakfast. Then very slowly make the time longer if you’d like to.
