How Working From Home Affects Your Health

Working from home has its perks. You can work in any room, dress any way you like (as long as you don’t have a video call scheduled in!), and there’s no commute.

However, as you may have noticed, it can affect your health. Because, yes, you’re at home, so you don’t walk or cycle to work. Or go for a walk during your lunch break. Climb any stairs. And the refrigerator is extremely close!

Then there’s the isolation, the lack of a routine…

My one tip to combat these issues? Create a routine. Start early, get dressed. Meditate before your work day begins. Eat a healthy breakfast and exercise during your normal lunch hour somewhere where you come into contact with others (while remaining safe, of course).

Tell me about your new routine next time we see each other.
