The keto diet can reduce diabetes risk, increase energy, protect against age-related brain disease. And you don’t need to do a full-blown keto diet to start reaping the rewards. But you can’t enjoy all those things unless you ease into new habit patterns, and to change, your mind needs something pleasurable to think about.
So how will you reward yourself for eating fewer carbs? Go for a wonderful stroll along the beach, watch your favorite show, or just kick back and read an excellent novel? Be sure to reward yourself with something that isn’t food-related, as well as something that is!
